This WHALEFALL nonprofit campaign was started by The Athenian School teacher, Bruce Hamren and family, for the students in Roatan.

We would also like to thank Tom Bihn, www.tombihn.com, for their generous donation that allowed this trip to be possible.

Summer 2024 International impact update!

One amazing student at a time. Or in this case, four scholarship students from Sandy Bay Orphanage in Roatan, Honduras! This last June WHALEFALL outreach instructors traveled to Sandy Bay, where working with the local orphanage they were able to help Emanuel Oseguera, Wilson Santiago, Dayana Murillo, and Ana Martinez, accomplish the next step in their path toward professional scuba certifications, with a focus on environmental conservation.

Should any of these very capable young people choose to, they can make a phenomenal career in scuba and eco-tourism, all at home in Honduras; all as stewards of our earth in their communities.

WHALEFALL maintains an annual outreach visit to our friends in Sandy Bay and are looking forward to assisting these young people Summer 2025 as the adventure in environmentalism and personal growth continues.

The effects on their students are deep, wide and lasting, quickly creating a global network of student activities for our planet and themselves. Your donations make these scholarship classes possible. You help us keep our commitment to students like them at our hubs around the world, including the US. The frequency of program visits is determined by your support, thank you for helping us help people and save the planet, one incredible young human at a time.
